By visiting or placing an order on www.twinegift.co (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site or place an order.

These Terms govern your use of the Site and any purchase you make from Twine Gift Co LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “You” refers to any visitor, user, or customer of the Site. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version posted on the Site at the time of your visit or order governs. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to place an order on the Site. By using the Site or placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.

2. Products, Descriptions & Pricing

We make reasonable efforts to display our candles, gift boxes, and other products accurately, including descriptions, materials, and pricing. Because many of our products are handmade, slight variations in color, scent, and appearance between what is pictured and what you receive should be expected and are not considered defects.

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing or listing errors at any time, including after an order has been placed; if this happens, we will contact you before completing the order and you may choose to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse, or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailable inventory. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.

3. Payment

Payment is processed securely through Shopify and its third-party payment processors at the time of purchase. We do not store your full payment card details. By submitting an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Applicable sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping destination, as required by law.

4. Order Processing & Shipping

Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing times may be longer during peak seasons (such as holidays) or for made-to-order items; any known delays will be noted on the product page or communicated to you directly.

Shipping times and costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method selected. We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, weather, or other events outside our control. Once an order ships, you will receive a tracking number by email.

Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us at hello@twinegift.co so we can assist you in filing a claim with the carrier or arranging a replacement where appropriate.

You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. We are not responsible for orders delayed, lost, or misdelivered due to an incorrect address provided at checkout.

5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

We want you to love what you receive. If you are not satisfied with your order, you may return eligible items within 15 days of the delivery date, subject to the conditions below.

  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items are final sale and not eligible for return, unless the item arrived defective or damaged.
  • To start a return, contact us at hello@twinegift.co with your order number and reason for return.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except where the item arrived defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving the returned item. Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error or a defective item.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can make it right, whether through a replacement, exchange, or refund.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photos, product designs, and images — is the property of Twine Gift Co LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share content from the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, or use our content, photos, product designs, or branding for any commercial purpose without our prior written permission. Requests for permission can be sent to hello@twinegift.co.

7. User Conduct

When using the Site, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its systems.
  • Submit false, fraudulent, or misleading information, including for the purpose of making a purchase.
  • Use automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to access or interact with the Site without our permission.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as social media or payment providers) that are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party site, and inclusion of a link does not imply endorsement.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Because our products involve fragrance and are often handmade, we recommend following any included usage and safety instructions (such as candle burning guidance). We are not liable for damages resulting from improper use of our products.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Twine Gift Co LLC and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products. Our total liability for any claim arising from an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Twine Gift Co LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
